Ah the 90s, a terrible period for all things fashion related. From low rise jeans to jelly shows to friendship bracelets, we had no idea what we were doing. And that was no more evident than when it came to our hairstyle choices.

Women seemed to have this trend of making their hair look like a jelly fish with the tentacles draped over their face, while men had trends that made their hair look like mating displays that birds would use to show they know how to build adequate nests for fledglings. Suffice it to say that perhaps other than Leonardo DiCaprio's hair in the 90s there was not a look that inspired too much fashion going forward. It was a decade of delusional exploration which was left behind, and for good reason. So get ready to dive head first into the tub of hair gel that was the 90s.
